You know, the thing about that is that it's not at all racist. He's a rabbit, therefore non-applicable to the only place that has world-wide racism: the world of humanity. On a side note, you suddenly reminded me of one of my own characters, Chicken Pants, named such because she's the only hen in the roost who wears pants alone.
